Client Categorisation

entity has carried out transactions (in any of the following: equities, or fixed income, FX, derivatives, commodities and other CFD products), in significant size, at an average frequency of 10 per quarter over the previous four quarters
Lack of the Protections

Please be aware that as an Elective Professional Client there some protections that you will not receive. Please read the following points below to understand what protections you won't be entitled to:

  • -You may not be eligible for compensation under the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).
  • -Unless you meet the definition of a consumer as eligible complainant professional client you may not be able to refer complaints to the Financial Ombudsman
    Services(FOS)
  • -GKPro will not be obliged to comply with the Conduct of Business Rules (COBS) relating to direct offer promotions or rules in relation to restrictions
  • When GKPro assess whether a product or service is appropriate for you, it can assume you have the necessary level of knowledge and experience to understand the risks involved
  • Due to the necessary level of knowledge and experience that you have, GKPro will not be required to provide you with written risk warnings in the same way for Retail Clients.
  • -When executing orders, we do not have to determine the best possible result in terms of the total consideration, representing the price of the financial instrument and the costs related to execution. If there is more than one competing venue we do not have to consider our own commissions and costs relating to each of the eligible execution venues when assessing which to use.
